ELIRE Launches Scalable Luxury Solutions to Address Growing Superyacht Berth Shortages

The global superyacht and luxury marina market is expanding rapidly, but the infrastructure needed to support it is not keeping pace.
In response, ELIRE has launched LUX by ELIRE, a scalable new maritime infrastructure solution designed to help destinations unlock additional capacity, enhance guest experience, and respond to growing environmental and operational pressures.

As demand rises for larger vessels, private experiences, and premium waterfront services, many of the world’s most desirable yachting destinations are facing the same challenge: too few suitable berths, growing congestion, and limited ability to expand through conventional marina development.
In key regions such as the Mediterranean, operators are also navigating tighter environmental protections, anchoring restrictions, and increasing pressure to reduce emissions and preserve sensitive coastal environments.

LUX by ELIRE has been developed to solve this problem. Built as a modular, nearshore Luxury Hub system, the solution extends marina-grade infrastructure onto the water without requiring permanent shoreline construction or disruptive land reclamation.
The system combines Mooring Hubs, Service and Power Hubs, and Luxury Hubs into an integrated ecosystem that enables operators to create premium, revenue-generating marine space within their existing footprint.

The result is a new model for superyacht and destination infrastructure: one that is scalable, rapidly deployable, environmentally responsible, and commercially attractive.
Operators can increase berth capacity, introduce new guest amenities, improve utility and servicing capability, and create more exclusive, better-spaced environments for owners and charter guests.
At the same time, the system supports a cleaner and more compliant future for yachting. Integrated clean energy and service infrastructure enables yachts to shut down onboard generators while at berth, reducing emissions, noise, and operational impact.
Seabed-secured mooring systems also provide a lower-impact alternative in regions where anchoring restrictions are tightening to protect marine ecosystems.

“The future of luxury yachting will not be defined by how much coastline a destination can develop, but by how intelligently it uses the water that surrounds it. Our Luxury Hub system enables operators to expand responsibly, protect natural assets, and unlock significant value without the risk and permanence of traditional development.”
Luke Jenkinson, Group CEO

Built on ELIRE’s class-aligned Smart Hub platform, the system has been engineered for rapid deployment, long-term operability, and site-specific flexibility.
It offers marinas, resorts, and waterfront developers a practical route to grow capacity and elevate experience without being locked into static, land-based infrastructure.
As the luxury marine sector enters a defining decade, LUX by ELIRE sets a new benchmark for scalable, experience-led, and sustainable maritime infrastructure.
LUX by ELIRE is part of The ELIRE Group, which develops modular, commercially viable infrastructure systems at the intersection of maritime innovation, clean energy, and future-focused destination development.
